Silence

You know what people don't do anymore? Shut up. I feel like everyone is either texting, calling, chatting, e-mailing, twittering, or engaging in SOME kind of "communication." I have a feeling that if an average American were put in a room where there was no noise, no people, and no internet then they would feel extremely uneasy. Silence is an amazing teacher; one of the most powerful, I would say. When you are alone, you are left with only your thoughts and your past. Silence is profound. You should try it sometime.
